Increasing awareness on women’s rights and entitlements
Addressing the knowledge and skills-gaps of personnel will involve in delivering justice increases understanding of women’s rights, which in turn can help changes attitudes and behavior, resulting in improved services for women. Mobilizing women to identify their vulnerability to violence and to develop action plans to protect their rights, as well as demand rights from duty-bearers. Similarly providing platforms at different levels to listen to women’s experiences of SGBV and other violations and using these to hold local governments accountable for protecting, promoting and fulfilling their rights.
